The WiT92 Foundation is a non-profit organization established by the alumni of Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur, MBA Class of 1992 in December 2008. The primary objective of this foundation is to promote educational and innovative ideas by reuniting and maintaining relationship with its alumni. The foundation will stimulate creativeness and entrepreneurial endeavors by funding projects designed to create innovative enterprises. To enhance the quality of education in Nepal , the foundation will also promote the excellence amongst professors and students by funding scholarships and awards to the most outstanding students and professors from the Department of Management, Tribhuvan University , Kirtipur , Nepal.
Objectives of WiT92 Foundation
Organize networking events for alumni, students, faculty, staff and community members.
Maintain good relationships amongst the alumni, current students, faculty members, staffs and emeritus professors from the Tribhuvan University , Kirtipur , Nepal .
Promote the social and cultural activities which are of the interest to the alumni such as a fund raising, publication of the periodicals, magazine or bulletin.
Institute awards to the most outstanding students or faculty member from Department of Management, Tribhuvan University , Kirtipur , Nepal .
Produce and support educational activities and programs for the benefits of the alumni.
Participate in disaster relief programs to help disaster victims in Nepal .
Maintain a permanent record of the alumni.
Mission
The mission of WiT92 Foundation is to promote the active participation of the alumni community from the Tribhuvan University (T.U.), Kirtipur and make an effort to contribute in the socio-economic development and the quality of education in Nepal. As the primary fundraising vehicle for this foundation, the Foundation's mission is to solicit, receive and administer gifts and financial resources from private sources to support this foundation.
